A most splendid and unusual cocktail bracelet dating to the 1940's and crafted in rich 18ct yellow Gold. In a sleek streamlined style, the central panel features a magnificent sparkling old hand cut Diamond and two bright red Rubies. The Diamond measures at around 0.75ct was recycled at the time of making and from its cutting style we would say dates to the late 18th/early 19th century. All very lovely and eye-catchingly fashionable in its heyday! This piece has a Continental feel and although it has no marks so we can't be sure it's fairly likely that this glamorous cocktail bracelet sparkled at parties there,  possibly en France. 

It measures as just over 7 inches when fastened and closes with a gorgeous box clasp and safety chain. Weighs 12.69 grams.
